Naperville Pediatric Dentist - Dr. Miranda Albert

Miranda Albert Dr. Albert provides the highest standard of quality care to each and every patient and fully endorses the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry's recommendation that each child have their first dental visit by age one. She uses a wide range of techniques to make each child as comfortable as possible in the dental setting and to create a wonderful and fun dental experience. In addition to routine dental care, such as cleanings, fillings and sealants, Dr. Albert screens each child for orthodontic needs. She also provides counseling for hard to break habits such as thumb sucking and sugary diets. Dr. Albert uses her background in psychology and child friendly language to help each patient cope with the dental experience and encourages parents to refrain from using words which may frighten the child, such as "shot", "pulling teeth" and "drill.

Naperville Pediatric Dentist - Dr. Kristin Elliot

Kristin Elliot Dr. Kristin’s main practice philosophy is treating every child as he or she were her own—developing a lasting relationship not just with the parent but with the patient themselves. Whether it be a two year old that she discusses her ‘water whistler’ and ‘Mr. Thirsty’ with or an eighteen year old that she refreshes on the proper technique for brushing and flossing before heading off for college, she focuses her chairside manner on your child and getting to know her or him better at each visit. Her goal is to deliver quality and meticulous care to each patient and foster habits and techniques beginning at age one and continuing into early adulthood. With her main focus being on prevention at each visit, she will teach patients her favorite secret tooth rules to keep a healthy and lasting smile—what foods, drinks, and habits are key to keeping optimum oral health and overall health. With sealants, fluoride, and special toothpaste options her first goal is to always prevent dental disease before it occurs. However, if more extensive work is required, such as fillings, crowns, root canals, and extractions she is able to offer a variety of behavior management techniques to put your child at ease and have an enjoyable dental experience. She also screens patients of all ages for orthodontic care at each six month examination.

Naperville Pediatric Dentist - Dr. Rhiannon Holcombe

Dr. Holcombe Dr. Holcombe believes in providing exceptional care and spending quality time with each child to make every visit positive. She believes a child’s first visit to the dentist is the most important one. Her passion is transforming initially young anxious patients into children who are happy to see the dentist. She believes if the visit is enjoyable and pleasant then children will feel better about seeing the dentist which will create a lifetime of good dental habits. In addition to routine dental exams, she also screens each patient for orthodontic needs, dental developmental abnormalities, and counseling for oral habits such as thumb sucking, tongue thrusting, and lip biting. Dr. Rhiannon Holcombe is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the Illinois Dental Society, the Chicago Dental Society, and the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. She regularly attends continuing education courses to stay current with the latest techniques and recommendations of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. During Dr. Holcombe’s spare time she enjoys reading, running, traveling, and Bikram yoga. She is also involved with community activities such as Big Brothers Big Sisters.
