Naperville Magazine awards based on 2009 readers’ favorites

Naperville, IL (July 31, 2009) After only being open for one year and seven months, the hard working team at Naperville Dental Specialists was voted “Best Dentist” for Naperville Magazine’s Best of Naperville 2009 Readers’ Favorites awards.

“It is all so good,” said Dr. Manal Ibrahim, owner of Innovative Orthodontic Centers. “This is all about the team. They are all so deserving!”

The hard working and dedicated team of fourteen just came off a week of mentoring and teaching in the state of their art facility in between seeing regular patients.

Dr. Anthony LaVacca, owner of Naperville Dental Specialists, is the regional mentor for Ladera Ranch Implant Institute, a highly regarded hands-on implant course which draws doctors from around the country to attend. Naperville Dental Specialists is a full service general oral healthcare facility that sees patients for cleanings and regular check-ups as well as whitening, veneers and other cosmetic dentistry.

The team is also very well known for their bedside manner and effort to create a comfortable environment for their patients.

“Dr. Elliot always remembers me and she remembers all my stories. She is very nice,” says one young patient after a visit.

The Best of Naperville awards dinner was held at Meson Sabika and the winners are announced in the August 2009 edition of Naperville Magazine.

Naperville, IL (July 23, 2009) In early July an article came out about Dr. LaVacca of Naperville Dental Specialists because he is one of the dentists of the Chicago Blackhawks. One of the questions the journalists asked was about one of the courses that Dr. LaVacca teaches called Ladera Ranch Implant Institute. There are only a handful of institute mentors around the country.
The implant institute is a private course that focuses on breakthroughs in dental implant technology and strives for constant improvement in the industry across the board.
Normally dental implants cost $1500-$3000. The article indicated that they were looking for live surgical candidates and that the cost would be reduced to $699.
The phone calls came in.
A reception was held for the candidates so that x-rays could be taken and the candidates could be qualified – meaning that implants would be an appropriate solution for the dental issue.
The candidates began to talk of their difficulties while they were waiting and the room became full of new friends who could share their stories with one another.
“It did become rather emotional at times,” said Cindy Young, who schedules the courses for Dr. LaVacca.
Some of the issues included failed root canals, broken teeth, tooth loss and periodontal disease.
Dr. LaVacca also opened up five scholarship opportunities for the UIC School of Dentistry students.
“All of our students are top students,” says Dr. Harlow, Director of the Pre-doctoral Dental Implant Program. “This will really give them an opportunity to experience more complex scenarios.”
The three day course focuses on cutting edge technology, removing the fear from placing dental implants through a mentoring program, improving the field and enabling qualified dental professionals the opportunity to strengthen their practices. The course culminates on Saturday, July 25th.
